The Gallery Collection has been publishing business to business greeting and holiday cards since the early 1920’s. They are family owned business that have been helping thousands of businesses with their personalized greeting and holiday card requirements. This year they are holding their 1st annual Christmas cards scholarship contest where they are offering a $10,000 scholarship to those in high school or college. This a great way to help those gifted students to show their creative side, but also have the chance to get some extra money for school. The contest starts October 1, 2007 and all entries must be received by January 15, 2008. You can submit submit your artwork, photo, or computer generated entries online with their simple form. Remember that all artwork and drawings must be original and not infringe on any copyright laws which means be creative and submit your own work. The winner will be notified on or about March 15, 2008. Here are some of the guidelines on how the entries will be judged:

1. Overall aesthetic appeal
2. Quality of execution
3. Creativity and Originality
4. Successful incorporation of design elements
5. Appropriateness for use as a greeting card
6. Attractiveness to The Gallery Collection’s corporate and consumer customers
7. Suitability as a design in Prudent’s Gallery Collection greeting card line
